And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.

“Are lingering pains from your past and anxieties about the future preventing you from savoring the present? Struggling to discover joy and meaning in life? Imagine living with robust vitality, serenity, and freedom. My mission is to empower you to mend past wounds, embrace your authentic self, flourish in relationships, and embrace a resilient peace in your engagement with life. Within a secure, supportive, and comforting environment, I apply a psychobiological approach, working collaboratively to revive your innate ability to bounce back from past and present experiences.
With a trauma-informed and holistic perspective, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). While my primary therapeutic technique is EMDR, I also integrate Mindfulness practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, Somatic Experiencing (SE) body-centered modality, and the role of the vagus nerve with regards to regulation of behavior.
Trauma, often likened to a 'splinter' of the mind, affects the amygdala, hippocampus, and Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). When overwhelming events are left unaddressed, the mind and body disconnect from conscious awareness, posing challenges to stabilizing physiology, accessing executive functioning, and being fully alert in the present. My therapeutic approach neutralizes these stressful events, transforming them into a detached narrative of the past while instilling a profound sense of safety and predictability."
